Quanny.

Hello, greetings, and welcome. Welcome to the Quanny Tumblog.

I'm a student at MIT in Bioengineering a Ph.D. student at Stanford in Bioengineering. And though I may have made a terrible life choice, I occasionally have fun. This Tumblog is my attempt to catalog, collect, and curate all of those fun moments, since it's only a matter of time before my memory goes.

You can contact me at jjq[at]stanford[dot]edu or befriend me on Facebook, if you so fancy.

  • Yoga to the People is awesome for many reasons, some of which I will enumerate below.
First, it’s free – or rather, it’s got a suggested donation, but the instructors seem surprisingly uninterested in your donations. Second, what other yoga studio will play Lykke Li, Radiohead, Air, The Radio Department, or Yo La Tengo? Third, at the end of each session the instructors play this amazing instrument called a crystal Tibetan singing bowl - or as I call it, the orgasm gong. Seriously, the first time I heard this thing, I thought I was hallucinating. And lastly, Yoga to the People allows me to be playfully cruel to Nik.

“I’m coming straight from work to yoga. Can you bring me some shorts and a shirt to change in to?” - Nik

This is why he is wearing a “Legalize Gay” t-shirt and the shortest short shorts I own.
